School dropout is a perennial problem, particularly in rural areas. Children who drop out from school mostly end up as child workers, either at home or at the worksite.
Major reasons for dropping out of school by the children, apart from household poverty, is due to poor learning skill, poor academic performance, and the resultant disinterest in studies.
