MPE Strategy Workshop and Planning Meeting for Year III Held in Mumbai

A two-day Mission Poverty Eradication (MPE) Strategy Workshop and Planning Meeting for the Province Project Directors (PPDs) of the participating Salesian Provinces of the South Asia Region, was held on 24–25 October 2026 at the Provincial House, Mumbai. The meeting was held under the guidance and leadership of Rev. Fr. Biju Michael SDB, Regional Superior and General Councillor for South Asia.
The workshop provided a platform for the Province Project Directors to review the progress of the project, present the Community Audit 2026 findings, share the Year II narrative and financial reports, and discuss the challenges, concerns and suggestions emerging from its implementation. Discussions also focused on the digital data ecosystem, data protection and strengthening coordination among the participating provinces.
A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to developing Province-wise plans and strategies for Year III, identifying priorities, setting directions and agreeing on the way forward to strengthen the project’s impact. The workshop was coordinated by Fr. Tony Pelliserry, MPE Project Director, together with the members of the Central Team.
